VACANCY - Damask General Welfare Adviser Damask Community Outreach, Lisburn, is seeking to engage a General Adviser to a part- time post of 16 hours per week. Remuneration: We aim to provide a competitive salary. Salary will be discussed at interview Location: Lisburn Damask is a Charity based in the North of Lisburn which has been providing an independent Advice Service along with a range of other activities to support the local community since 2012. We have a current base of over 600 clients and remained in operation throughout the COVID lockdown with a telephone helpline. Limited face- to-face support is now being provided. Our advice service aims to provide personal support to help clients deal with their issues which may relate to benefits, disability, family problems and domestic violence, budgeting, employment or housing. We are largely a volunteer organisation but employ our adviser to provide a professional and confidential service to our clients. Damask Community Outreach was initiated by Seymour Street Methodist Church but is an independent Charity and through our Advise Service is seeking to help all members of our community based on their needs.
